Kepernick said in a podcast interview last month that he would “completely” want to play in the league again and would be ready to return to the league as a backup quarterback if that helped his chances of a comeback.
Although the car did not speak on Thursday, other players, including defender Maxx Crosby, were asked about bringing Kaepernick to the workout.
“Honestly, I don’t know much about that,” Crosby told reporters. “I’m worried about the guys being here now, so I really have.”
