Capri Sun flavor may contain ‘cleansing solution’

The company said it discovered the solution was accidentally mixed with the juice after receiving consumer complaints about the taste of the juice.

The recall involves approximately 5,760 bottles of Capri Sun Wild Cherry Juice blend. The “best by” date on packages is June 25, 2023.

Kraft Heinz, which has co-headquarters in Pittsburgh and Chicago, said it was working with retailers to remove the products from circulation. Consumers who purchased the affected Capri Sun should not consume it and should return it to the store where it was purchased.
