Christmas Break

Raise The Roof Hull are trying to give an amazing gift for the homeless of Hull; a comfy bed and somewhere warm to sleep.

After the success of last year’s campaign the local group are looking to emulate the results.

The Toughest Time Of Year

Tragically the Christmas period is the most prevalent for suicides in homeless people. During this period they find themselves reflecting on the things they have lost. Giving them somewhere to sleep for even just a few nights can make all the difference to those that have so little.

Because of the fantastic efforts by Raise The Roof (and other local homeless charities, too) there were no recorded deaths of homeless people through the Christmas period!

How Can I Help?

The group have set up a GoFundMe page to help raise funds to pay for hotel accomodation for homeless people, and hopefully clothing and gifts if enough is raised. If you can spare anything then please donate to the GoFundMe page. Every pound helps!
