Hull – Car Damaged and Man Allegedly Assaulted

A driver has had his car badly damaged and has allegedly been assaulted in Hull on the 27th February.

The man was driving along Hall Road around 5.45pm when a group of children started throwing snowballs at his vehicle.

He got out of the car and told them to stop when two males on a yellow Peugeot moped drew up.

The pillion passenger got into a verbal altercation with the victim before allegedly assaulting him and trying to steal his car keys. The suspect then jumped onto the car bonnet and stamped on the windscreen until it smashed.

Witness Appeal and Description

Humberside Police would like to speak with this suspect, the moped rider or anyone else who may have any information.

The suspect has been described as 17-years-old, white, skinny, 5 feet 9, wearing a grey hooded jacket with the hood over his head and black joggers.
