Local author David Mark’s first novel, Dark Winter, is set to make its stage debut in March. Follow the first adventure of DS Aector McAvoy as he investigates a string of seemingly unconnected murders in Hull.

After spending more than 15 years as a journalist, many of which as a Crime reporter, David turned his writing talent to fiction, creating his own stories. The popularity of his first novel, Dark Winter, lead David to create a whole series of books following the trials and tribulations of DS Aector McAvoy.

Theatre Production

Whether you’ve read the story before, or you’re new to his work, you will certainly enjoy this tale of murder.

Wonderfully dark, the stage adaptation by award winning writers Richard Vergette and Nick Lane will to keep you entertained. Those that haven’t read the book will be guessing who until the big reveal. Fans of the series will get to enjoy the story being brought to life by a talented set of actors.

Tickets are available now and cost just £12.50 (£2 off for concessions). Performances are nightly from the 13th to 17th of March at 7:30, with a matinee on Saturday the 17th at 2:30pm.
