Attempted Robbery

A bookmakers in Hull was the victim of an attempted robbery late last month. The Betfred bookmakers on Ganstead Lane, Hull, was entered by a man wielding a bladed weapon. The man demanded money from the employees while his accomplice waited outside. The incident happened on the 31st of October at around 7:30pm.

After staff triggered the shop’s panic button the armed man left the premises and both men ran towards Ganstead.

Description of Suspects

The man that entered the premises was described as being white, in his early 30s, and around 6 foot tall. He is described as having a gaunt-looking face and was wearing a blue tracksuit top with his hood up.
