Bridlington – Man Assaulted By Gang of Youths

Man Assaulted

A man has been assaulted by a gang of youths in Bridlington.

As the man was walking down St John’s Avenue near the Midway Avenue junction he was approached by around 10 youths. One of the youths asked the man if he had a cigarette, to which he answered no. As he walked away from the youths he was attacked with a bladed weapon.

The incident happened at around 9pm on the 16th of October.

It is believed that the youths were in a nearby takeaway shortly before the incident. The youths have been described as wearing dark clothing and hooded tops.
