Beverley: Hugh Rice Burglary


Hugh Rice, a prominent jewelry store Saturday Market Place, Beverley, was robbed yesterday. Robbers broke into the jewelers at around 4am on Monday morning. Three men broke into the shop, with a fourth believed to have been waiting outside in a dark BMW 1 Series.

What Was Stolen?

There was a large amount of jewelry stolen in the robbery, including:

  • Pandora charms & jewellery
  • Nomination charms & jewellery
  • Thomas Sabo charms & jewellery
  • Olivia Burton ladies watches
  • Michael Kors ladies & gent’s watches and jewellery.

Display boxes from some of these items were discovered at around 5am in a skip near Spring Bank.

Humberside Police have released CCTV of the incident in the hope of identifying the individuals. If you recognise anyone in the pictures please report it to Humberside Police or Crimestoppers.
