An elderly gentleman has been injured in a collision between his mobility scooter and a car.
On Monday the 2nd of October, around 7:15PM, a gentleman aged 72 was injured crossing the pedestrian crossing on Hall Road in Hull.
The incident happened around the Sirius Academy.
Traffic from the Beverley Road end of the junction stopped to allow the gent to cross in his scooter, but the driver of a vehicle travelling the opposite direction failed to stop.
The gentleman was assisted by the ambulance service, and was then taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment. He was lucky to escape the incident with only minor injuries.
Humberside Police would like to speak to anyone that witnessed the incident, especially the kind people that stopped to help the gent.
