Youth Arrested for Hoax Bomb Threats

Humberside Police have arrested a 17 year old in connection to hoax bomb threats made on Thursday Afternoon.

The 17 year old is accused of phoning in hoax bomb threats to Wolfreton School and Sirius Academy West on Thursday afternoon, causing both schools to be evacuated. He is currently in police custody and is assisting them with their investigation.

It is reassuring to note that nobody was harmed from the resulting evacuation of the schools, and that parents and students have been reassured that they are not in any danger.

Humberside Police have requested that anyone with information relating to the bomb hoaxes call the non-emergency number, 101, and quote log numbers 278 and 363 of June the 8th.
