Maisie’s Challenge – Can you help raise £20,000?

Maisie, 9, from Hornsea is just trying to be like all of her friends, able to run, climb and play. Unfortunately Maisie was born with Cerebral Palsy and needs the assistance of a frame to join in with her friends and to be able to enjoy herself.

Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy, an operation that used to be available free on the NHS, helps to relieve the stiffening of the muscles in her legs, so to get Maisie through the operation and physiotherapy required Maisie’s family and friends are trying to raise the £20,000 to help cover the costs of giving Maisie her childhood.

We’re pleased to announce that we’re extending our existing offer, where any business that donates £15 or more on the GoFundMe page (please put your business name in the comments) will get 1 month’s completely free advertising on our website. What that means is a completely free slot at the top of every article (on a rotation basis) for an entire month. There are no strings, no catches, just a completely free advert for your business to say thanks for your support!

Even if you aren’t a business please do donate anything you can to help Maisie get her much-needed operation!

Maisie’s GoFundMe can be found here and the Facebook page for her challenge can be found here.

Thank you, as ever, for your support!
