Humberside Police today received negative feedback from a recent inspection by the HMIC (Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary).
The report tells the public that Humberside Police are “failing victims” of crime and are “inadequately” protecting those vulnerable of crime.
Although the report is quite negative, it does go on to give Humberside Police the grade of “good” at preventing crime, tackling antisocial behaviour and keeping people safe. They also received a “good” grading at tackling serious and organised crime.
This report comes mere days after Chief Constable Justine Curran steps down from her role.
