As the relegation battle nears its conclusion, Hull enter this game looking for no less than a win and three points in the bag. Anything less shouldn’t be in the mindset of any of the starting eleven, the substitutes or manager Marco Silva. Three points could make or break Hull’s season, against a team that they know it’s possible to beat.

The International Break couldn’t have come at a better time, after a 4-0 thrashing by Everton. It must be said that the 4-0 scoreline didn’t flatter the state of the game, with ridiculous sendings off and decisions that lead to fierce debate amongst fans and pundits alike.

The return of Markus Henriksen is jarred with the 3-match ban Tom Huddlestone received for what should have been at most a Yellow Card, though his return is very much needed, as he was beginning to find his feet at last within the Hull squad.

With the potential return of Evandro in the near future, this cannot hurt Hull’s chances, with vital games against Middlesbrough, Stoke, Watford, Sunderland and Crystal Palace in the closing weeks of the Premier League season. It is uncertain where he will fit in, with a Hull squad creating performances worthy of the league they’re in as of late.

Robert Snodgrass is likely to be in the West Ham squad in his first game against his old club, and while fans are, naturally, not happy with the time of him leaving, it’s likely he’ll get a warm reception from the fans of the team that revitalised his football career. It cannot be forgotten how vital he has been to Hull’s survival in the Premier League, even if he did leave a couple of months back now.

We’re predicting the scoreline to go in Hull’s favour, as the fortress of the Kcom Stadium has become a proving ground for away teams. Our prediction is 2-0 to Hull, with Niasse on the scoresheet. Although we’re not the kind to place crazy bets we think there’s a good chance that Harry Maguire will finally break his scoring duck in the Premier League in this game. After not, for reasons unfathomable, being called up to the England squad he has gone on to prove why he’s more deserving than some of the current crop of players.

Score Prediction:
Hull 2-0 West Ham
Niasse & Maguire to score
